Acacias EtoileIndependent hotel guide

Orly Airport to Acacias Etoile

A checked public-transport route takes metro line 14 from Aéroport d’Orly to Châtelet, then line 1 towards La Défense to Argentine. From Argentine, use exit 1, Rue des Acacias, for the final walk to Acacias Etoile at 11 rue des Acacias, 75017 Paris. Check the journey again for your arrival time before buying a ticket: this guide explains the route, while live service and access conditions can change.

Start with the metro if you can manage the interchange and your luggage. Reconsider it if you need a confirmed step-free journey, arrive close to the last services, or would struggle with bags during the transfer. A taxi avoids the rail changes, but its road journey still depends on traffic.

Compare the routes before you leave the terminal

Make the choice for your whole journey to the hotel, rather than selecting the first train leaving the airport. A route that reaches central Paris is only part of the trip; the interchange and final station matter when carrying luggage.

Option When to consider it Transfers and arrival Check before committing
Metro 14, then metro 1 A rail journey with one named interchange and a short final approach Change at Châtelet; leave at Argentine and use exit 1 Both lines, interchange access and the service available at your arrival time
Orlyval, RER B, then RER A The current planner recommends this alternative, including during a disruption Change at Antony and Châtelet–Les Halles; arrive at Charles de Gaulle–Étoile Each connection, ticket validity and the final exit and walk
Official taxi Heavy luggage, a group, late arrival or an unsuitable rail-access route Give the hotel’s street address directly to the driver The applicable fare and any supplements, vehicle capacity and traffic

For a family, compare the total cost of eligible tickets with a taxi for the party. Also consider whether one adult can handle the luggage while the other supervises children through the interchange.

Take the line 14 route to Acacias Etoile

  1. Follow signs for metro line 14 and Aéroport d’Orly station. Allow for the walk from your actual terminal. The saved journey starts at the airport station area; its duration should not be treated as a door-to-door time from every arrivals hall.
  2. Select the airport ticket on the correct medium. At the review date, the full-price Paris Region–Airports ticket is €14 for a single journey. It can be loaded onto Navigo Easy or a compatible smartphone. It covers the authorised metro, RER and train connections, including the airport legs, within its conditions; it does not cover a bus or tram leg. Check eligibility before choosing a reduced fare.
  3. Board line 14 towards Saint-Denis–Pleyel and leave at Châtelet. Keep the station name visible in your saved itinerary. Do not choose a different interchange simply because a train also serves a station near the Arc de Triomphe.
  4. Follow the signs to line 1 towards La Défense. This is a walking interchange, rather than a change across a single platform. Keep enough time and luggage-handling capacity for the connection. Stay within the authorised interchange route: the airport ticket’s normal validity is two hours from entry validation, with connections governed by its conditions. An unnecessary exit can affect the journey’s validity.
  5. Leave line 1 at Argentine. Check the exit signs before going to street level; exit 1 is labelled Rue des Acacias. Have the hotel’s exact address available for the last part of the journey.

Choose the station for the clearest final walk

Argentine

Argentine is the arrival station in the checked line 14–line 1 journey. Exit 1 brings you to Rue des Acacias; use the street name and building number 11 to complete the approach. The saved planner example shows 169 metres and four minutes for its final walking leg. The hotel describes Argentine as about 200 metres away. These are separate references, not a promise of an exact walking time with luggage.

Keep the final walking map available offline. If you emerge from a different exit, locate your actual position before following the remaining directions; a station name alone does not identify the correct side of the street.

Charles de Gaulle–Étoile

This alternative fits the hotel’s older Orlyval–RER guidance. The hotel lists it at about 500 metres, while Bonjour RATP identifies exit 5, Avenue Carnot. The checked map shows the approach along Avenue Carnot, then Rue des Acacias, towards the hotel’s address. Recalculate the walk from the exit you actually use.

Use Argentine for the checked metro itinerary above; consider Étoile when your chosen rail connection arrives there. A general station-area walking estimate is not an exact distance from exit 5, and the exit number does not prove a step-free route through the station.

Check whether the journey works with luggage or limited mobility

Assess the interchange as carefully as the train ride. The following checks help decide whether to keep the metro route or choose another arrival option:

A fully step-free airport-to-hotel journey has not been established for this route. If steps would prevent travel, confirm a suitable exact journey with the transport operator or arrange an appropriate vehicle and assistance before departure.

When the Orlyval route or a taxi may suit you better

Consider Orlyval via Antony

The hotel’s access guidance gives Orlyval to Antony, RER B to Châtelet–Les Halles, then RER A to Charles de Gaulle–Étoile. Treat that as an alternative to compare with current official results, particularly if the line 14 route is disrupted. It has a different transfer pattern and final approach; the fact that it appears on the hotel’s website does not make it automatically faster, easier with luggage or suitable at every arrival time.

Consider an official taxi

A taxi may be more practical when several people share luggage, a late arrival leaves limited rail options, or you cannot validate a suitable accessible journey. Show the driver 11 rue des Acacias, 75017 Paris rather than relying on the hotel name. Confirm the regulated fare applicable to the trip and any permitted supplements before departure; a private transfer quote is a separate offer. Request suitable vehicle capacity or mobility arrangements where needed, rather than assuming that every available car will meet them.

Recheck these details on your travel day

Use the Île-de-France Mobilités journey planner with your actual arrival time and the hotel’s street address. Before leaving the terminal:
